About

Hi, I'm Yasuko.

WHERE I’M FROM
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.  Being small (don’t ask me about my height) I’ve always been with big passions by nature. The world is huge, and learning about different cultures always got me going. This passion was the reason I took the plunge to come and live in the US.
WHAT I USED TO DO
I became an EN to JP translator after finishing my degree. Destiny brought me to work as a tech support at OpenTable, and then I switched to a QA engineer.
WHAT I DO
Currently I’m a UX designer at MINE, a startup company that provides home furnishing. Prior to MINE I did design jobs for Btrax, a design agency specializing in Japanese and the US market. My learning focus has been Figma and Webflow since I became an US designer.
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
Working at a diverse team where I can utilize my 15-years experience of releasing digital products. Surrounded by many talented peers, I'd love to grow as the team grows.
